How It Works
AWS EventBridge Partner Event Source enables seamless integration between AWS services and third-party SaaS applications, allowing events from partner applications to flow directly into the AWS environment. Here’s how it works:
1. Partner application integration: SaaS applications like Twilio Segment are registered EventBridge partners. They generate events like user interactions or system updates and publish them as a Partner Event Source in AWS EventBridge hosted in Netcore’s AWS account.
2. Event source registration: When you integrate your Segment CDP as a partner application, it creates a dedicated Partner Event Source for Netcore’s AWS account. Netcore’s admin must accept this event source in the EventBridge Console to activate it for your account.
3. Event bus association: Once accepted, the Partner Event Source is associated with a dedicated Event Bus in Netcore’s AWS EventBridge. This event bus is the channel where events from your Segment CDP will flow.
