Gmail Delivery Issues (Resolved)

On December 14th and 15th Google shook the email world with a system outage that impacted a significant portion of their user management platform. This resulted in emails bouncing with a “user unknown” error for a short period of time at Email Services Providers (ESPs) all over the world.

Oh no, my list!

Not so fast, Netcore has your back!

As soon as the Netcore deliverability team was sure the problems had been resolved we immediately started to take the necessary steps to reverse the improper bounces within your accounts and re-enable the bounces within account across both the Netcore email platforms. By the time you read this everything will be back to normal in your account.

However, if you maintain a list of users that bounce and are suppressed before sending though our platforms you should re-enable the Gmail hard bounces from Dec 14th and 15th to resend regular mailing to these individuals going forward.

Note: Not all accounts were impacted unless you were sending at the time of the Google outage.
